Georgia Wrenn Featured at the Peabody Essex Museum's "Little Voices, Big Ideas" Event

Posted by on

7 year old entrepreneur (and daughter of Sully's founder Chris Wrenn) Georgia was featured today at the Peabody Essex Museum's "Little Voices, Big Ideas: Celebrating Kid Power" event. Georgia was a featured "Kid Entrepreneur" alongside other future business leaders and activists during a day of art making, workshops, vendors, performances, as well as a scavenger hunt that was illustrated by Georgia herself. Georgia donated 20% of her sales to Salem based HAWC (Healing Abuse, Working for Change), where her mom is a social worker), netting the organization $110. Georgia has literally grown up at the PEM and was featured on their podcast in an episode "Growing Up Curious" when she was 3 years old. You can listen to that HERE

Our White Ribbon "Believe In Boston" Tee Raised Way More Money Than We Expected

Posted by on

Alex Cora is wearing a limited edition Believe In Boston t-shirt that we created in support of Jerry Remy, which ended up raising a grand total donation of $25,250.  We asked Alex to join us in our presentation of the final payment of $10,250 to the Jimmy Fund, because his wearing of the tee during their telethon prompted a whole lot of people to order it, giving us a chance to make a much bigger donation than we had thought possible.  The first donation of $5,000 was made to the MGH Cancer Center, you can read about it HERE. The 2nd donation of $10,000 was made to the Jimmy Fund and you can read about it HERE. It took a minute for the dust to settle, but when it did we couldn't believe we were able to make this final donation of $10,250.  THANK YOU to everyone who supported this effort!
