I never thought this day would come, but your Merrimack Valley Warriors sit atop the D1 men’s ice hockey polls. This a Merrimack program that is three years removed from a dismal nine-win campaign and coming off its only winning season as a member of Hockey East. Merrimack has a favorable schedule for the next couple weekends, so their reign at the top might be more than a single week. Shaping up to be a great Hockey East Tourney this March.
